Polish Tatra Sheepdog
Our Polish Tatra Sheepdog. We named him Halan taken out of the Polish name for the breed, Polski Owczarek Podhalański.
Halan is a Livestock guardian dog and unlike the herding dogs which control the movement of livestock, guardian dogs blend in with the herd, watching for intruders within the flock and offering protection when needed.

Halan at 20 weeks and Jasmine is an 11 week old Agouti Siberian Husky. The Agouti coat color is one of the oldest, closest to the Husky's ancient wolf ancestor.

This is Halan at 8 weeks. He kind of resembles a polar bear cub.
Halan was born to working parents on a real sheep ranch. The breeder was kind enough to give us pictures of the mother and pups.
